Additional Property Attributes

Asbestos-containing materials (ACM), lead-based paint (LBP), and mold were identified within the structure. All regulated ACM must be removed from the structure if future renovations have the potential to damage the ACM and release asbestos fibers. ACM abatement must adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations. Any LBP in poor condition should be properly abated according to all federal, state, and local regulations. Any LBP in good condition that has the potential to be damaged during building renovations should be properly abated or encapsulated. The following recommendations are provided regarding mold growth: 1) All sources of moisture intrusion should be investigated and remediated to prevent further mold growth. 2) The porous/semi-porous building materials identified with visible suspect mold growth and/or evidence of moisture intrusion should be cleaned or removed by a qualified contractor.
