Additional Property Attributes

OCC records for this facility indicate that it has sat abandoned since 2004-and maybe earlier. The operator stopped responding to OCC letters requesting him to remove the USTs after 2004. The tanks on site are made of steel and were reportedly installed in 1990. The building, canopy, and pumps are in good condition. There is a concrete parking lot surrounding the building and pump island. Concrete is unbroken, suggesting tanks are indeed still in place. There are 9 metal caps near the tank pit, some of which are missing their lids. After sitting empty for nearly 19 years, the tanks have likely rusted and begun leaking. Alfreidya Webster is the Director of Promise Pointe Foundation, a nonprofit foundation that provides resources as well as transitional housing for people who need help re-integrating into society after traumatic life experiences, such as abuse, homelessness, displacement for other reasons, or prison sentences. Mrs. Webster plans to use this property as an office, event, and outreach center for the Foundation.
