Additional Property Attributes

The original site location was the old Wagner High School. The building was demolished and a three story apartment building, which was privately owned, was built in the early 1980's. When the developer no longer cared about the property the "Park-view Villa Inc.", a non-profit organization in Wagner obtained the building and created housing for the elderly and disabled for the Wagner area.

Parkview does an excellent job providing housing to elderly and disabled in the Wagner area. They are in a process of putting in a new boiler for the building. Before the work proceed, Parkview is required to do the asbestos survey. Parkview has already secured significant support from a variety of sources for their project. Assistance from the Brownfields Program for the asbestos survey will be a great help in moving the project forward.
