Additional Property Attributes

This property is part of the OKEMAH SW oilfield and has several registered wells immediately adjacent to the property. It is also surrounded on the east and south sides by petroleum storage tank sites, all of which have had confirmed releases. It is possible that one or more of these activities have impacted the site. The OCC used our $2M Assessment Grant to conduct a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment on this property for the Okfuskee County Industrial Authority. The Phase I revealed no RECs, so no Phase II was conducted. The Industrial Authority closed on the property on 11/6/2023 and on the same day, the developer purchased 3 acres of 7.93 acres to begin plans for a hotel.
