Additional Property Attributes

This site (1056 N 9th Avenue) together with 27 W Speedway Boulevard has been in the possession of Morning Star Property Management since at least 2013. The Morning Star Property Management site consists of three parcels (APNs 117-02-136A, 117-02-137A, 117-02-138A). A home at the site was demolished in 2009 and the site has been vacant since. The site is located 250 feet west of North Stone Avenue, a historic transit route into Tucson. The east adjoining lot, which is situated on the southwest corner of N Stone Ave and Speedway Blvd, may have housed a gas station from 1930 through 1965 associated with an automotive service.
In 2023, the City of Tucson is considering buying the site for redevelopment with low-income housing.
