Additional Property Attributes

The Christ the Rock Church site is located on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in Lame Deer, Montana. The site is situated at 514 North Montana Avenue, south of U.S. Highway 212. Christ the Rock Church is in a commercial area and includes a burned commercial building with associated debris. The former building was reportedly constructed in the 1970s and was historically used as a church and day care center before being vandalized and burned.

The Northern Cheyenne Tribe wishes to remove the burned building debris and demolish the building's foundation and crawlspace to allow for redevelopment of the property. The Tribe would ultimately like to redevelop the site into a green space for the community.
