Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Ponderosa site is located at 1701 Bellamah Avenue NW in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Figure 1. Before 1949, the area was used for farming. Farming ceased sometime over the decade after 1949. The land remained undeveloped until at least 1967, when the site was used to store lumber. From 1973 through 2001, Ponderosa operated the site as a particle board manufacturing facility. Petroleum products, resins, and solvents were all used as part of the manufacturing process. Since 2001, the site has remained vacant, and SCLT acquired the property in late 2003.
