Additional Property Attributes

The entire site dates back to the 1890s and has seen numerous ownerships and uses. The tire store and paint store have been in place for 50 yrs. The adjoining sites have had buildings that served as furnished rooms, meeting halls, clothing stores, a fish and poultry store, and liquor store and restaurant. The current owners have redevelopment plans that will tie in with the downtown redevelopment effort. PPF - 1/24/2006

Former Use: The existing building was constructed in 1956 by the Smith Family and has been a combination tire store and paint store until 2005. The adjoining vacant lots had retail bldgs. with a variety of non-impacting businesses. The paint and tire store now serve an auto repair shop and a retail store. The adjoining lots now serve as a parking lot serving the City's downtown area. 9-22-11
