Additional Property Attributes

The City of Milwaukee is currently negotiating the sale of this property to Columbia Savings and Loan Company so they can expand their current operations. The City assisted Columbia Savings and Loan in applying for a WI Department of Commerce Brownfield Grant of which they received $190,000 to fund cleanup of the property. The WDNR has approved a Remedial Action Plan for the site, and Columbia Savings and Loan plans to acquire the property this spring, conducted cleanup, and start redevelopment.

Former Use: The property was historically used as a furniture store, car parts company, tire sales, household appliances, and paint shop.
