Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The subject property was developed as early as 1890 with several commercial businesses, residential homes, railroad lines, and lumber storage. All of the structures were razed of the Consolidated Lumber Company sawmill. Between 1914 and 1920, the Thomas Berry Chemical Company constructed a wood distillation plant, which was abandoned and demolished prior to 1938. The subject property originally contained the Issakson Brothers Scrapyard from at least 1938 until 1943 when the Warshawsky family purchased the subject property. The property has been utilized as a scrapyard since that time.
