Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Property consists of 56 greenhouses and ancillary buildings many of which date from 1920s. The property originally developed in 1880s for growing vegetables and flowers. By 1960s it was the largest greenhouse complex in the world. Business relocated to South America in the 1980s in part due to rising fuel costs. Greenhouses were abandoned and now overgrown. Past ownership no longer involved with property.
