Property Highlights

Former Use: This former auto-body shop (now demolished) was taken by the City of Springfield in 2007 through the tax-title process. In 2005, a 275-gallon oil tank was dumped at the 460 Walnut property illegally, necessitating immediate response action. USTs at the site were removed in the 1980s. The site was damaged by the June 2011 tornado. The 454 Walnut portion of the site (not the subject of this ESA) still requires cleanup.
