Former Use: The subject property was part of the Council Bluffs historic implement manufacturing district with implement assembly and storage occurring onsite from the 1880s to 1960s with a rail road spur servicing the site along the eastern side of the addition. In the 1960s, International Harvester closed operations at the site and the site has been through at least eight occupants with maintenance and up keep to the building diminishing with each occupant.
