Additional Property Attributes

Ultimately the City of Valley plans to redevelop and utilize the mill property for residential and commercial operations (condominiums and retail sales establishments.) The greenspace includes Langdale parcel and boat landing(downstream) - 150 acres. For commercial property, a hotel and conference center is planned. The industrial property was a textile mill. The current owner of property is the City of Valley. Originally, outside heating oil tank.

Former Use: 1866 - Chattahoochee Mfg. 1880 - West Point Mfg. Burner 1885. 1886 WP Rebuilt Cotteon ops. 1992 Wellington Sears. 1999 National Registry of Historical Places. 2005 bankrupt sold to Valley.
