This redevelopment resulted in 7 units of affordable housing.

Former Use: The property is located at the corner of Route 5 and Guilford Center Road in Algiers Village, Guilford, VT. The property is 0.2 acres has been used for residential and commercial properties. There are currently five rental units, one of which is currently occupied as an office for a car sales business. The other units are residential rentals. The structure was built in the early 1800's. It is connected by municipal sewer. Water is from an on-site water supply well. The current owner, Friends of Algiers Village, Inc. purchased the property on January 31, 2005. Windham Housing Trust, a non-profit housing developer, purchased the property in 2008. Rafael Carbonell and Patricia Mayor (formerly Carbonell) purchased the property May 18, 1978. Prior to that the property was owned by Allen and Ethel Dearborn. There are multiple prior owners dating all the way back to 1819.
