Additional Property Attributes

This property underwent its first tank removal and over-excavation in 1998. A second excavation followed in 2001. Phase I and II performed by City in 2004-05 and hydraulic lifts and kerosene tank. City enforced vacant building demolition. The Phase I and II are on file at EPA Region 3 and have all the historical and anecdotal info. See attached history of City involvement too. Prospective Purchaser to redevelop into 15,000 ft dialyses center. (PPF - 4000 Washington Street(EPA Site ID G3JMNY00), 4-26-07) Project expected to be complete in Summer 2008 (PPF - 4000 Washington Street (Site ID G3JMNY00), 1/26/08).

Former Use: Gas/service station since 1951: Exxon operated in 1980s. Purchased by R&E in 1980: tire/service station. The property is under contract with a prospective purchaser as of Jan 2007.
