Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The property is owned by the City of Bridgeport. Approximately half of this property is vacant vegetated land. The other half of the property appears to have been used for storage and is fenced. Environmental concerns on the property are contaminants related to fill materials placed on portions of the property during the 1930s and concerns associated with impacts from nearby properties e.g., Mount Trashmore and Chrome Engineering properties, which are located across Central Avenue. The property is currently vacant. Approximately half of the property is secured with chain link fencing and the other half is open and covered with vegetation. There are no buildings on-site. The property is currently owned by the City and is zoned for light industrial uses.
