Additional Property Attributes

The proposed redevelopment will provide youth related indoor and outdoor activities for children ages 6 through 17. The existing building is planned for renovation into classrooms, art studios, and administration offices; while the outside is proposed to be capped with turf and playground equipment. The property is within walking distance of the high school and is ideally suited for its intended reuse. The Boys and Girls Club and City are firmly committed to providing guidance and safe alternatives for its youth and turning a vacant deteriorating property into a community asset (PPF - Monte Vista Boys and Girls Club Property, 9/10/07).
