The Site Cleanup Assistance Program (SCAP) used funding from an existing State fuel tax to cleanup lead-based paint, lead dust, and asbestos in the armory. The City of Atoka requested that the non-asbestos containing floor tiles with asbestos containing mastic underneath, be left in place. The deed notice details continuing maintenance for the floor tiles and mastic.
