Additional Property Attributes

Historical oil and gas production occurred on this property and adjacent properties in the 1930's and 1940's. According to a 1941 aerial photograph, the subject property appeared to have two ASTs on the northeast side, which likely contained oil and/or gas. A 1922 Sanborn map showed the Pintsch Compressing Company on the east section of the property. This company specialized in manufacturing and compression of illuminating gas.

Former Use: The property is composed of three parcels consisting of 1.5 acres. The west parcel includes an approximate 18,000 square-foot building currently used as storage for horse carriages/equipment. The building was occupied by W.H. Stewart for steel manufacturing purposes in the past. The rest of the subject property consists of a gravel alley to the south of the building, and vacant grassland and a gravel driveway to the east and southeast of the building.
