Additional Property Attributes

Property is located along the US Highway 30 realignment corridor. Property to the west is a know LUST site. Review of data from the LUST site indicated low level groundwater contamination had extended to the Former KFC site. Contamination is being managed by the LUST RP.

Former Use: The parcel totals approximately 0.42 acres with one commercial structure and a parking lot. The structure is used as office space for New Age Builders, Inc., a general contractor, and Mel Foster Company, a realty agency. The structure was previously a Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) restaurant. The property was first identified as a residence from circa 1909 through circa 1956. Circa 1960 a restaurant identified as the Golden Point Drive-In occupied the site. The KFC restaurant occupied the site from circa 1965 through circa 2005.
