Additional Property Attributes

Property is located along the US Highway 30 realignment corridor. The results of the database searches and historical research located twelve neighboring properties with recognized environmental conditions (RECs) in the ASTM search distances from the subject site. Of the twelve off-site RECs, no properties contain the potential to impact the subject site. Based on the records review, interviews, on-site inspection, and historic information available at the time of the Phase I ESA, the environmental contractor recommended no further action on the subject site.

Former Use: The site is generally located at the northeast corner of Camanche Avenue and 22nd Place. One 2-story brick commercial building is situated on two parcels totaling approximately 0.21 acre. The main floor of the commercial building is used for the operation of Gary Foster Accounting offices with an apartment on the 2nd level. The property was used for commercial purposes through much of its history. It was occupied by a grocery store and accessory structure from circa 1897 through circa 1967. The property was vacant from circa 1967 through circa 1970. The property has been used for the Gary Foster Accounting offices from circa 1990 through March 2007.
