Additional Property Attributes

First Class Transmission Shop is located at this site. This active high volume business has been serving the East Austin area since 1984. Located just off of East 7th Street, the business sits on 0.178 acres partially developed with a concrete driveway and parking area. The equipment yard is located on northeast half of the property. A 750 gallon concrete underground storage tank is being used to store used oil. Several chemicals of concern were identified and associated with the operation of the transmission repair shop. Monitor wells were installed during the ESA Phase II which did not reveal chemicals of concern that required immediate action. The property owner is planning to remove the UST. First Class Transmission Repair Shop will be upgraded and continue to operate at its current location.

Former Use: Property was residential until 1984 when improvement were constructed for commercial business. The property is currently an active business operating as a transmission and automobile repair shop.
