Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: S.O.T.E.S is a local non-profit organization that wishes to donate this parcel to the City. The site is wooded/wetlands and abuts the Pawtuxet River, but industrial activities at surrounding properties have been documented for many years. According to RIDEM files, several properties located less than 1,000 feet from the site are registered with RIDEM for documented releases of oil and/or hazardous materials (OHM). According to historical aerial photographs, industrial properties have surrounded the site since at least the early 1900s. Portions of the subject site may have been cleared in the past, and potential dumping activities from nearby industrial properties may have occurred at the site.
