Additional Property Attributes

The property will contain 40 units of housing for city public school teachers and 35,000 square feet of office space for nonprofits working with the Baltimore City Public Schools. There will also be a first floor coffee shop.

Former Use: The site has been vacant for a number of years, but the site formerly housed a large can manufacturing operation. The site was last occupied in 1990 by the Census Bureau. The site likely became contaminated during its lengthy manufacturing history. The American Can Company Miller Facory operated on the site from 1900 through the 1950s.
