Additional Property Attributes

The site has a newly constructed white l building to the northeast and two lagoons located on the south portion of the site.A transmission power line runs through the middle of the property in the east and west directions. The rest of the property consists of grassland and trees on the east side of the property. A gravel road leads into the property from Santa Fe Road located to the west. U.S. Highway 70 is south of the property followed by Sanders Auto Parts and Sales. The adjacent properties to the north and east sides of the site are heavily covered with trees. A residence is located in the north adjacent property within a quarter of a mile of the site. Grassland followed by Santa Fe Road is adjacent to the west. West of the primary lagoon, approximately 200 feet, there is a shipping and receiving facility which handles oil drilling chemicalsBachman Services, Inc. No recognized environmental conditions were found at the subject property during the site reconnaissance performed on May 1, 2008. The old historic tank farm approximately 0.5 mile south of the subject property does not pose an environmental concern to the site. All tanks are being removed. There were no records of this property listed in the EPA CERCLIS databases.

Former Use: Property was once all rangeland. The subject property was once open farmland/graze land and is being developed to house 100+ male inmates for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. The property has a building, a primary lagoon, and a secondary lagoon. The site�s legal location is described as a tract of land in the Northeast � of the Southwest � of the Southwest � of Section 30, Township 4 South, and Range 2 West Indian Meridian.
