Additional Property Attributes

The City of Lebanon applied to NHDES for a grant of technical services for the completion of a Phase I/II site assessment and a historical resources assessment. The City is interested in purchasing this portion of the railyard for the construction of a car-top boat launch ramp. Acquisition of this parcel would also complete their riverwalk trailgreenbelt.

Former Use: This is a portion of the Westboro Railyard that was occupied by Tidewater Oil from approximately 1940 until approximately 2004. The property was acquired by NHDOT to preserve potential future rail use in 2004 when Boston & Maine Railroad was disposing of the railyard.
