Property Highlights

Site contains a large warehouse & a two-story red brick office building. Railroad tracks cross the east, north, and west portions of the site. Historically there have been five USTs, although two USTs (10,000- and 2,000-gallon) were supposedly removed about 20-25 years ago. An 8,000-gallon UST is still onsite (planning is underway for removal of this UST), as well as a liquid oxygen AST (currently used by lessee). Three heating oil burning furnaces and associated piping and two abandoned fuel oil furnaces are on the property. Lessee (Ryerson Steel) has a RCRA small quantity generator permit.

Former Use: Fuel distribution center 1930-1950. Former coal & lumber yard.
