Additional Property Attributes

Three USTs were confirmed present on the east side of the property including two, nested 1,000-gallon tanks and one 2,000-gallon UST located nearby to the north, which was consistent with historical documentation. Reasonable attempts were made to access the tanks. Upon inspection, it was determined that the two nested, 1,000-gallon tanks were filled with sand. The contents of 2,000-gallon UST was not readily accessible at the time of investigation. Laboratory results indicated low levels of VOCs associated with gasoline, all of which were well below their respective DTLs except for the detection of benzene (0.0580) in one soil sample, which only slightly exceeded its respective DTL concentration for benzene of 0.561ppm. Elevated lead levels were also detected above respective DTLs in essentially all samples.

Former Use: The Site is currently an undeveloped, concrete paved lot with several tractor trailers parked on it. The Site operated as a gasoline service station and auto repair shop for over 65 years (1923- 1990). Installation of two underground tanks and pumps for a filling station was permitted in 1924. An additional underground tank was permitted in 1930.
