Additional Property Attributes

Site sold without Due Diligence.

Former Use: The subject property was developed for the operation of the Harbison-Walker refractory in approximately 1956. The subject property was occupied by a magnesium oxide manufacturing operation of approximately 740,000 square feet. The manufacturing process created magnesium oxide briquettes utilized in the production of fireproof brick materials. The subject property was operated for the refractory until approximately September 2003 when it was closed. Over the years of operation, upgrades to equipment and new additions to the manufacturing facility have taken place. It also appears areas of the subject property may have been filled with waste materials generated from the refractory processes during the operation of the manufacturing facility on the subject property. Since the discontinuation of the operation on the subject property, it has remained unused.
