Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Site is the current location of the Former Farmington Tire and Automotive located at 13660 SW Farmington Road, at the southwest corner of SW Farmington Road and SW Menlo Drive, Oregon. The approximate 0.5 acre Site is bounded by SW Farmington Rd to the north commercial properties beyond, SW Menlo Drive to the east commercial properties beyond, and Eichler Park to the south and west. The City of Beaverton has zoned the Site, which is currently undeveloped and unpaved, as �general commercial�. The site was an active fuel station until approximately 1992, an automotive repair facility until approximately 1993, a used car lot until approximately 1998, and vacant thereafter until demolition in 2002. At least 6 former underground storage tanks USTs have been documented at the site. Five of these USTs shared a common excavation. Releases from this group of former USTs apparently resulted in the soil and groundwater contamination at the site and several different remedial approaches have been utilized at the site. Gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbons and its constituents are the primary contaminants of potential concern. Data gaps at the Site are primarily related to incomplete assessment or lack of documentation of remedial system effectiveness. Many of these data gaps are identified by ODEQ in their letter dated August 20, 2008. Mr. David Ball was the primary operator that dispensed petroleum product at the site. Mr. Mahmood purchased the site in approximately 2002.
