Based on the findings of the Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, a Phase II Environmental Assessment was recommended. A Phase II Environmental Assessment was conducted on the City of Marshalltown (2) Property and completed in August, 2009. Several contaminants were identified above the statewide standard in the groundwater. However, based on a groundwater ordinance that prohibits private use and consumption, no further investigation or remedial actions are recommended.
