Additional Property Attributes

Phase I recommended a Phase II because of the historic use of the property. The IDNR completed a Phase II on the property as part of a Targeted Brownfields Assessment, which found Arsenic contamination along the former railroad bed. The parcel is part of the City's plans for a paved bike trail. It is anticipated that the soil will be graded and covered by cement.

Former Use: Since completion of the Phase I ESA, the ownership has changed. The original parcels have been merged into one parcel. The historical use of the property is a former railroad right-of-way.
