Additional Property Attributes

The Site consists of an approximate 1.3-acre irregular-shaped rectangle lot. The Site is currently vacant and undeveloped, but was formerly occupied by an automotive repair shop and warehouse. According to the City of Fitchburgs Assessors Office, the Site is currently owned by A.O.W. Realty Trust and is identified on Map 45, Lot 39. However, the Site is currently under tax title due to back taxes with the City of Fitchburg.

Former Use: The Site consists of an approximate 1.3-acre irregular-shaped lot, located at 80 Lunenburg Street in downtown Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The Site is currenty vacant and undeveloped, but was formerly occupied by a automotive repair shop and warehouse. The former Site buildings were recently demolished in 2006. Concrete foundation slabs from the former buildings and asphalt paving from the former driveways and a parking lot are still present across the majority of the Site. The Site is terraced and consists of two main levels, which are separted by a concrete wall and chain-link fence. A third vegetated level occupies the northwestern portion of the Site. According to the City of Fitchburg Assessor's Office, the Site is currently owned by A.O.W. Realty Trust and is identified on Map 45, Lot 39. However, the Site is currently under tax title due to back taxes with the City of Fitchburg. The Site is located in a suburban area primarily characterized by residential development with some commercial development. Historic Site uses have included an automobile repair shop and warehouse. Several industrial facilities are located approximately 1,200 feet to the southeast of the Site. In addition, an auto body shop is located adjacent to the east of the Site across Congress Street. The topography of the Site slopes moderately to the south-southwest in the western portion of the Site, and to the south-southeast in the eastern portion of the Site, and the Nashua River is located approximately 1,500 feet to the south of the Site.
