Additional Property Attributes

The surrounding property to the east is occupied by a drycleaning facility at 1601 West State Street. Suspected potential asbestos-containing and PCB containing materials were noted on the subject property during the site inspection.

Former Use: The subject property is improved with a one-story vacant building consisting of office and storage space, an unpaved parking area, a vegetated lot and a paved walkway. The subject property is currently leased by Rent-A-Center and unoccupied. Rent-A-Center used to own this property until 2006. The building on the property had been utilized as an office space for about 20 years. The property was occupied by A&P Food Store in 1959, Spiegel Catalog Shopping Center from 1964 to 1987 and Goodwill Industries from 1975 to 1987.
