Additional Property Attributes

The wastewater treatment pland operated from 1957 to 1975. There is some probability that the pland had processed RCRA wastes, VOCs or SVOCs. This investigation found indications of elevated metals present on the property. The DEQ recommends restricting the use of shallow groundwater at this property for drinking water purposes unless additional treatment occurs. If the future use of the property is intended for residential purposes then it is suggested that control measures such as a filtration system be established to mitigate any potential health effects from the groundwater pathway. (PPF - Abandoned Wastewater Treatment Plant)

Former Use: municipal wastewater treatment pland from 1957 to 1970s. Prior to treatment plant, property was used as pasture and cropland.
