Additional Property Attributes

The Subject Property is an irregular-shaped property bound on the west by East 81st Street; on the south by Otter Avenue and Fort Avenue; on the east by East 82nd Street and East 83rd Street; and on the north by the RTA transit railway. There are vacant parcels and a recreational park to the east of the property. There are residences to the south of the property. The adjacent properties to the southwest and west consist of vacant parcels and commercial establishments. There is an active RTA transit railway to the north of the property. There are two buildings on the Subject Property: � A one-story 60-ft by 30-ft wood- greenhouse with polycarbonate panels. � A one-story 60-ft by 30-ft metal tube- greenhouse with Visqueen (plastic) siding. The Subject Property formerly housed eight one-story and two-story residential buildings from approximately 1913 to 1973. All of these buildings had been demolished by 1973. Remnants of the buildings, primarily consisting of bricks and concrete, are visible on the western half of the Subject Property. The Site, consisting of nine parcels, is currently owned by the City of Cleveland and is currently occupied by RGP. RGP has a 5-year lease with the City of Cleveland to use the parcels for an urban agricultural training center. The City of Cleveland has owned the property since 1973. Prior to RGP�s lease, the property had been managed by the city�s Division of Park Maintenance and Properties as a municipal city park. Prior to the city�s ownership, the nine parcels were owned by private owners for residential use.
