Additional Property Attributes

SIR/ROR/RAP submitted for the Service Adhesives site in Maywood on 02/07/12 was approved by the Illinois EPA project manager. As of 4/17/2012 Illinois EPA was preparing the draft NFR Letter for the site. Site investigation activities were conducted between April 18 and May 2, 2011, and on October 14, 2011. A total of 19 soil samples and two field duplicate samples were collected from 12 soil boring locations, and three groundwater samples and one field duplicate were collected from the three installed monitoring wells. Former Use: The Site is currently owned by the Village and was acquired through the Cook County Tax Reactivation Program. The most recent owner on record prior to the Village was Cole Taylor Bank, which managed the Site as Trustee under Trust Number 2489. The historic uses of the Site include a former adhesive manufacturer facility and automobile sales and service operation. All buildings formerly present on the Site have been demolished and removed. Future use of the Site may include a residential and commercial use, such as a two-story structure with a retail store on the first floor and residential space on the second floor.
