Additional Property Attributes

The US EPA tasked Tetra Tech to conduct a Phase I and II ESAs of the site under the Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START) contract EP-S5-13-01, Technical Direction Document (TDD) No. S05-0003-1412-005. The property is planned to be redeveloped as a multi-use redevelopment including a proposed charter school, recreational/community center, independent senior living and urban agricultural center. The property is in a mixed commercial, light industrial and residential area.

Former Use: The property has been largely undeveloped. The site has had some minor industrial use near its border, and former railroad spurs transected the property. A mobile cellular tower is on the southwest corner of the property. Slag generated from an off-site steel facility has been dumped on the property.
