Additional Property Attributes

The site is located at 386 Prep Phillips Drive in Augusta, Richmond County, GA. The site was formerly a field ship for the city's Traffic Engineering office as well as an automobile crushing and recycling business. The site building is a 2 story, 15,000 sq ft structure. The Savannah Riverkeeper now has a 100 year lease with the City and plans to develop the site as an environmental education and outreach center.

Former Use: The site is a commercial property situated along the Savannah River. The City purchased the property from the GA Port Authority in June 1984. Site activities prior to that sale are unknown.
