Additional Property Attributes

The site is located within Green Bay's Broadway corridor and is currently owned by BMO Harris Bank NA. The site contains two vacant buildings and a parking lot. The City has prepared multiple conceptual plans for potential site reuse, which include medium density residential and commercial uses. The redevelopment would replace two vacant underutilized structures with a higher density of housing and commercial space.

Former Use: A Phase I ESA was performed on behalf of the EPA and the city of Green Bay, Wisconsin under START Contract TDD 0003/S05-1903-300. Tetra Tech performed the Phase I ESA in April 2019. The site currently includes two vacant buildings and a parking lot. One of the buildings is a former drive-through bank that was constructed in 1982. The other is a vacant office building constructed in 1925. A commercial auto garage and dry cleaner had previously operated on the site. Based on the findings of the Phase I ESA performed in 2019, the historical dry cleaning and potential auto repair operation on the property are recognized environmental conditions (REC). Based on the site reconnaissance, there is a potential underground storage tank at the site. In addition, the Phase I identified off-site RECs associated with service stations and leaking underground storage tanks in the site vicinity. A Phase II investigation was recommended.
