Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The site contains one vacant two-story, approximately 15,778 sq-ft, building formerly used as a County jail on approximately 0.367 acres. The building was originally constructed in 1972 with a major remodeling in 2005 and ceased operations in 2013. The building has been vacant since 2013. The Phase I ESA found the following RECs: Historical mining activities on the adjoining Boston Hill property has occurred for over 100-years. Potential mine waste rock material was observed eroding off the adjacent Boston Hill property onto the site from the southwest side. The potential presence of mine waste rock from the Globe Mine is considered to be a REC due to the possibility for heavy metal presence above acceptable risk levels.
