Additional Property Attributes

The site consists of two parcels of land that combined total 13.63 acres. The parcel of land located at 2607 Whitney Road is 7.0 acres and is currently vacant, and the parcel located at 2611 Whitney Road is 6.63 acres and mostly vacant except for a two-story residence structure located on the northwest corner. The Phase I ESA identified recognized environmental conditions (REC), historical RECs (HREC), business environmental risks (BER), and de minimis conditions in connection with the site. The RECs and HRECs were predominantly related to the site being unpaved and historically used as a former auto salvage yard from at least 1972 through 2009. The Phase II ESA recommended a Phase II ESA to evaluate impacts to site soil, sediment, and surface water due to historical auto salvage yard operations. The Phase II ESA report recommended additional soil sampling to fully delineate TPH impacted soil and sediments and the subsequent removal and capping of TPH impacted soil at the site.
