Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The NSGA Sabana Seca Base, a naval communications station which formerly operated a high-frequency direction finding facility, consists of a North and South Tract and is located approximately 14 miles west of the city of San Juan. The environmental assessment was conducted at a Parcel of 84 acres of land inside the NSGA Sabana Seca Base. The Parcel is located in a hilly upland area in the southwest corner of the NSGA Sabana Seca South Tract. It is mainly mogotes and open land covered in vegetation. The property has been reportedly impacted by leachate runoff from the adjacent Toa Baja Municipal Landfill.
