Additional Property Attributes

The Crowley Recreation Department proposes to acquire this property to be used as sports fields in the expansion of the adjacent sports complex. In the Phase I ESA, the only concern found at the site is rice husk ash in the soil over the entire site. Amorphous and crystalline silica may be present in the ash. Both are potential respiratory irritants and crystalline silica is a known carcinogen. Further investigation of this possibility is recommended.

Former Use: Acquired by City of Crowley from A. B. Dore et al, on 11/21/2006, 5.874 acres by cash purchase and 2.761 acres by donation.
