Additional Property Attributes

The subject property is located at 29 Argonne Avenue in Great Falls, Chester County, South Carolina. The subject property currently houses asphalt and gravel roads, large debris piles, one 30,000-gallon aboveground storage tank, a detention pond, several building pads that housed former structures, and several vacant structures, including: one approximately 10,000-square-foot, one-story concrete block and brick warehouse; one approximately 30,000-square-foot, two-story warehouse; one approximately 1,600-square-foot, one-story metal shed; one approximately 2,200-square-foot, one-story brick building with associated smokestack; two 100 square-foot guard shacks; and a 100-square-foot shed.

The subject property hosted a textile manufacturing facility from around 1931 to 1984, was vacant from 1984 until 1997, and hosted a plastics recycler and antique stop from 1997 until an extensive fire broke out in 2006. The subject property has been vacant since 2006.

Future uses of the subject property may include a manufacturing plant, welding school, storage, or maintenance facility.
