Property Highlights

The property is located on the East Bank of the Cumberland River in Downtown Nashville. Half the property is maintained as a parking lot and the other half is udeveloped and unpaved. The area in the past was used for storage,saw mills,and bridge construction.

Former Use: The site is bound by 1st Street on the east, the Shelby Street Predestrian Bridge on the north, the Cumberland River on the west, and the Korean War Vertans Bridge on the south. The area investigated covers the east bank of the river. Half of the property is a parking lot and the other half undeveloped. The area was in the past used for sawmills supplied by rail and river traffic. The property was used for bridge fabrication and barge construction.
