Additional Property Attributes

Property has had many past uses and has been vacant since 1994. Asbestos and petroleum were the main contaminants. Downtown building abandoned for 20 years was in disrepair, including friable asbestos and petroleum-contamination from USTs. CDPHE contracted with CDL to perform Phase 1 & 2 and supplemental assessment. CDPHE funded asbestos survey. State funds funded asbestos abatement oversight. CDL contracted for removal of USTs and contaminated soil. County provided and placed fill dirt, and accepted debris in landfill.

Former Use: 1st built in 1918 the site has since been: auto service, car dealership, fuel station, teen center, restaurant, grocery store. Many owners.
