Additional Property Attributes

The BTA was conducted for the City of Horton to evaluate a property with environmental uncertainties that is being proposed for the future site of the new Horton Library. Due to its strategic location near the high school and downtown area, the property was the chosen candidate for the new library. No "Recognized Environmental Conditions" RECs were indentified in association with the property. A Limited Asbestos Survey was conducted as an additional scope outside of the ASTM-1527-05 Phase I assessment. ACM was identified within building structures and will need to be addressed prior to renovation or demolition activities. No further assessment is being recommended at this time.

Former Use: Used for residential purposes since 1896.
