Additional Property Attributes

The site has a one story building that was constructed in 1940 and has been vacant for the past 20 years. The age of the building and the presence of LUST facilities within the site could be a reason why the site might be classified as a potential Recognized Environmnetal Condition REC. The site is situated within a mixed commercial/retail and residential area of Chevy Chase neighborhood of N.W. DC.

Former Use: The site has a two story building that was constructed in 1940 and has been vacant for the past 20 years. Because of the age of the building, it is then identified as a potential source of Asbestors Containing Material ACM and also the presence of nearby Leaking Underground Storage Tank LUST cases within the vicinity has resulted a very good reason why the site can be classified as REC site. The site is situated within a mixed commercial/retail and residential area of Chevy Chase neighborhood in DC. The building is in the Southwest corner of the Fort Reno Park property, which consists of several athletic fields. The property is owned by the federal government National Park Service but the athletic fields are operated by the District of Columbia Government. The past or current ownership of the site was not identified in the report but the report indicated that the site is currently zoned GOV which is refered as government.
